Yahoo! was an internet pioneer. The place you went for email, news, sports scores and search. You probably even made it your first homepage. Yahoo! was my first real job as a Designer. I worked in the Search Marketing department, and at the time we were in a heated race with Google to become the dominant search engine. Of course we all know how that turned out… but during my 15-month stint at the company, I learned so much: design fundamentals, accessibility practices, Photoshop wizardry, how to critique and be critiqued. Although my time at Yahoo! was short, it was invaluable to propelling me into my next role.
